UNAIR NEWS – The closing of Psychofest 10th ran well and lively. The event held on December 4 in Grand City Surabaya was crowded with visitors and tenants in the bazaar. There was a big stage for the musicians to entertain the visitors.
Psychofest 10th was a part of the 23rd anniversary Faculty of Psychology. This year, the theme was We are Not Alone. Pandu ji as the head of psychofest 10th said that the theme was chosen as it was related to the originality, human and the system. In short it was not only about us, but there are others.
There were six events of Psychofest 10th, Indonesian Psychology Ball League (IPBL), Open Psychology, National Psychology Debating Competition, Film Festival Film, and music bazaar. As the closing event, Psychofest 10th presented some independent indie bands such as Kelompok Penerbang Roket dan The Trees & The Wild. There were also local indie bands from Surabaya entertaining the visitors such as Cotswolds, Timeless, Beeswax, Layung Temaram, and HIMOM!. Beside music performances, there was a bazaar for fashion and culinary.
Different from the previous years, the bazaar and music performances were held in Open Space Grand City. It was chosen as a strategic venue in the city center which attracts great enthusiasm from the public. “This event is not only for psychology for psychofest or psychofest for psychology but psychofest and psychology for the world,” added Pandu.
The event was crowded with visitors from kids to adults. They looked enthusiastic visiting the tenants. “The event is fun as there are many unique tenants from online shops in Instagram. The food and drink are various too. The music is easy listening. I only know The Trees and The Wild, so I just wait for that band,” said Nikita, one of the visitors of Psychofest 10th.
