Puteri Indonesia East Java Wants to be Lecturer

UNAIR NEWS – Puteri Indonesia of East Java in 2017 Fatma Ayu Husnasari admitted that she was interested to be a lecturer in her alma mater, Faculty of Law Universitas Airlangga. The statement was made by Fatma, after she was affirmed to be a postgraduate student on Thursday, August 10 with the other 1,450 students.

“Yes, I am also interested in becoming a lecturer. I got an offer actually but not from UNAIR. I always love UNAIR so if there is an offer as a lecturer from UNAIR I’ll take it,” said Fatma.

Fatma continued her master study in FH UNAIR after being graduated from the same faculty on March 17, 2017.

She has a great determination to continue study. For her, it is a need to gain insight and improve self-capacity, especially when she also won 2017 Puteri Indonesia Jatim.

“As Puteri Indonesia, besides having a good physical figure, we are also expected to be smart, to gain more knowledge and insight. So, when there is an opportunity to study further, why not,” explained Fatma.

She was planning to study further in the same field of science she learned during bachelor’s degree, Business Law. It is appropriate with her aspiration to lead a legal division in a company.

As planned, she wanted to attend international conference and publish her scientific researches.  “If there is an opportunity to conduct research with UNAIR or my own, I’d like to participate,” said the woman born in Blitar.

In master program, she is also expected to perform multitasking. She must be able to manage her work and education well. Her activity as Puteri Indonesia Jatim 2017 also demands her to attend various events.

“I must be ready. I am ready to choose and perform my best,” said Fatma.

She also hoped that her study in FH UNAIR to run well, be able to finish as scheduled, and get the best results. Fatma also advised her friends in Puteri Indonesia not to forget the education. (*)
