Tabligh Akbar BEM FK UNAIR on “The Youth Close to God”

UNAIR NEWS – On 11 Ramadhan 1439 H or Sunday, May 24, Assalam Student Executive Board (BEM) of Student Family (KM) Faculty of Medicine Universitas Airlangga (FK UNAIR) conducted a series of events. In the morning, there was Tabligh Akbar themed “The Youth Close to God”, while in there was BREGMA (Iftar with Generation Young and Orphans) 2018.

Both activities were held in Grahabik-IPTEKDOK Building, on ​​campus A UNAIR Jl. Mayjen. Prof. Dr. Moestopo 47 Surabaya. Both are routine events of BEM KM FK UNAIR in every Ramadan.

The theme of Tabligh Akbar 2018 was out of the committee wishes to create awareness of the youth in Indonesia, especially in Surabaya, that as young men who is given more energy and opportunity by Allah ‘Azza wa Jalla , they should always be close to God, not waste their life for nothing.

The Tabligh Akbar followed by hundreds of young people around Surabaya was started at 07.30 WIB. It was opened by Alqur’an recitation by Ayub Zen Baraas and transliteration by M. Abdurrahman Rasyid, both medical students of FK UNAIR class 2017. The event was continued with speeches.

The first was a report from Imaniar Indraswara, as Head of Tabligh Akbar committee, continued with Haidar Ali Rabbani as Head of Assalam, and the last was by Prima Ardyansyah Surya, Head of BEM KM FK UNAIR.

In Tabligh Akbar this year, the committee presented two speakers, Ustadz Aditya Abdurrahman, Punk Muslim supervisor, and Ustadz Bangun Samudra, a preacher former reverend graduated in Vatican University master’s program. Both spoke about “The Youth Close to God”.

Ustadz Aditya Abdurrahman explained that when we are going to hijra, to study Islam, a teacher is needed. He emphasized to always improve the intention in doing it and not to listen to people mocking them.

While Ustadz Bangun Samudra also explained that there are two ways of hijra, dzahir and bathin. What is meant by the dzahir road is the real way, for example when going on sermons, while the path of bathin is related to the heart.

“The purpose of the two paths is to meet Allah, certainly in Heaven,” Ustadz Bangun Samudra said.

The event was open to the public and absolutely free of charge. People who want to be participants, previously register through SMS or WhatsApp (WA) and also Line to CP (Contact Person)  on posters in official account BREGMA (Line / Instagram).

In addition, the committee also provided online registration form to facilitate the community. Then the committee also provided on-site registration for participants who want to come but have not had time to register before. (*)
