UNAIR NEWS – Universitas Airlangga is trusted by Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education once again. This time, UNAIR is trusted to host Technical Training (Bimtek) on Instruments and Material for Education Laboratory Operator (PLP).

The event held for PLP from all universities in Indonesia was held in Faculty of Science and Technology Universitas Airlangga on Monday, August 14. There was Head of Educational Staff Career Division Dr. Ir. Feri Ramadhan said that this Bimtek is held to improve the competence of the PLPs.

“This activity can be a place for PLP to learn and see the comparison of laboratory facilities among universities,” he explained.

Feri also said that the reason for appointing UNAIR as the host is because it is deemed as one of the best campus in Indonesia and UNAIR also has extensive laboratory facilities.

“We choose UNAIR because its laboratory is one of the best in Indonesia,” he explained.

as Vice Rector II UNAIR also attended for the occasion. He said in his address that he appreciated Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education through its division to hold a technical training for PLP. He believed that this effort can improve their competences.

“If the PLPs have excellent competences, the output presented by the universities will improve as well,” he stated.
