Erick further stated that Indonesia has a bright future, proven by the economic growth, which increased by 5 percent post-pandemic. While the world deemed that the pandemic would clobber Indonesia. The culture of mutual cooperation (gotong-royong) proves them wrong as it protects the nation to date.

He added that Indonesia has strong bargaining power, particularly in Southeast Asia. “Indonesia lies 45 percent of its economic power in Southeast Asia,” he said.
