UNAIR NEWS – Banyuwangi School of Health Science and Natural Science (SIKIA) UNAIR held another judicial assembly on July 2022 on Tuesday, July 12, 2022. The event was held offine and attended by the Director of SIKIA Prof Dr Soetojo, Vice-Director for Academic Affairs Dr Rahadian Indarto Susilo, Vice-Director for Non-Academic Affairs Dr Mufasirin, and the study program coordinators.

Prof Soetojo congratulated the students and warned them not to be complacent about graduation. Students must learn continuously and adapt to global competition and the dynamic world. He encouraged them to take the measured steps as planned.

“Students who want to build a career may start applying for jobs, for those who want to pursue their studies, start completing the preparations immediately. Hopefully, none of the students are unemployed during the 3-months post-graduation,” he said.

Prof Soetojo reminded them to keep practicing the values of Excellence with Morality, a principle UNAIR firmly holds. Good ethics and morals must accompany high intellectual capacity.

“Hopefully, you can compete and keep being a good human with HEBAT characters internalized within, just like our tagline,” he added.

In the event held in the Meeting Room of Giri (A) Campus, Prof Soetojo declared the graduation of 16 students: 6 students from the Aquaculture study program, 4 students from the Veterinary, and 6 students from the Public Health study program.

Dwi Kurniawati, one of the judiciary participants from the Aquaculture study program, expressed her gratitude to the SIKIA UNAIR academic community. She hoped that each path student takes may provide positive feedback to the alma mater.

“My colleagues, this is not the end of the journey. Instead, it is the beginning of real life. Hopefully, whatever path we take will benefit us, the alma mater, and the nation,” she said.
