UNAIR BPBRIN strengthens strategic partnerships and character development to realize “Indonesia Emas 2045”
UNAIR NEWS – Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) continues to strengthen its role in supporting the vision of Indonesia Emas 2045 by
BPBRIN, as a supporting unit of Universitas Airlangga, assists the Rector in enhancing the university’s self-sufficiency through the downstreaming of UNAIR’s innovative products, the development of startups, business incubators, technology transfer, teaching industries, and science and technology parks, as well as the development and marketing of UNAIR’s enterprises.
To be a Start-Up and Incubation Business Development Board that supports the university in achieving academic excellence, independence, and innovation, and being prominent both nationally and internationally, pioneering the development of science, technology, and humanities based on religious morality.
When it was still named Business Development and Incubation Institute, BPBRIN provides Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) services with primary responsibilities for patents, copyrights, trademarks, and industrial designs. However, following the establishment of the Innovation, Journal Development, Publishing, and Intellectual Property Rights Institute (LIPJPHKI) in 2020, based on the Rector’s Decree Number 868/UN3/2020, IPR services were transferred under LIPJPHKI. Its main task is to facilitate the acquisition of patents, copyrights, and trademarks.
