Planning and Development Board (BPP) is a board that develops an integrated planning and development system to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of administration at the unit, faculty, and university levels, in order to achieve “Good University Governance.”

VISION

To become a key catalyst for management renewal and development within Universitas Airlangga through systematic and integrated planning.

MISSIONS

1. Directing the policy in planning and development of units/faculties/university in accordance with Universitas Airlangga vision, mission, and goals.
2. Developing an integrated planning and development system to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of education administration at the unit, faculty, and university levels in order to achieve “Good University Governance.”
3. Fostering synergy in planning and development.
4. Promoting equality, fairness, and transparency in the integrated planning and development of the university.
5. Guiding the planning and development of units/faculties/university based on the university’s policy direction in line with vision, mission, and goals.
6. Creating an integrated planning and development system among units/faculties/university to achieve efficient and effective resource allocation.
7. Achieving educational management in sinergy with planning and development.
8. Creating a management climate that is aware of achieving common goals as a unified organization.

Tasks and Objectives

1. The Planning and Development Board is a supporting entity of UNAIR that assists the Rector in formulating strategic plans, as well as the plans and implementation of UNAIR’s development.
2. The strategic planning includes the elaboration of UNAIR’s vision and mission, formulated in a five-year program plan for academic development and its supporting facilities to achieve UNAIR’s goals.
3. The Planning and Development Board has the following duties:
a. Formulate UNAIR’s strategic plan;
b. Develop short-term plans and implementation for UNAIR’s development;
c. Develop medium-term plans and implementation for UNAIR’s development;
d. Develop long-term plans and implementation for UNAIR’s development; and
e. Report on the execution of its duties to the Rector.
4. The Planning and Development Board is led by head and assisted by a secretary.
5. The head and secretary of the Planning and Development Board are appointed and dismissed by the Rector.
6. The head of the Planning and Development Board is accountable to the Rector.
7. The secretary of the Planning and Development Board is accountable to the head.
8. Further regulations regarding the duties of the Planning and Development Board, as referred to in paragraph (2), are regulated in the Rector’s Regulation.
