UNAIR NEWSUniversitas Airlangga (UNAIR) continues to strengthen its reputation as a top choice for prospective students. Among its standout offerings is the Psychology program, a highly popular discipline in the social sciences and humanities (Soshum) cluster. This demand reflects the public’s strong confidence in the university’s educational standards.

Atika Dian Ariana, M.Sc., M.Psi., Coordinator of UNAIR’s Psychology Program, highlighted that the program offers two study tracks: the regular undergraduate program and the International Undergraduate Program (IUP). The regular track accommodates approximately 270 students annually, while the IUP admits around 30.

She attributed this rise to the growing awareness of mental health literacy among young people and the program’s robust national and international accreditations. “Our curriculum meets international standards and is regularly updated to incorporate the latest advancements in psychological studies,” she added.

The program boasts 14 research groups, providing students with platforms for research, community service, and skill development tailored to their passions. “UNAIR’s Psychology program prioritizes quality over quantity, ensuring students are well-supported in realizing their full potential,” Ariana explained.

Ariana also detailed the program’s efforts to guide new students through a talent management system. “From their first day, we track students’ achievements and interests to direct them toward personalized growth pathways. We also offer periodic mental health monitoring through our psychology service unit, which provides free counseling,” she said.

The program emphasizes innovation, encouraging students to create impactful projects. Each year, students develop over 80 digital applications, including psychological assessment tools and intervention platforms.

With its internationally aligned curriculum, cutting-edge facilities, and extensive support systems, UNAIR’s Psychology program is committed to producing graduates who excel on both national and global stages.
