The Institute for Innovation, Journal Development, Publishing, and Intellectual Property Rights was officially established in 2020 through Decree Number 868/UN3/2020. This institute oversees three service units: publications and journals, innovation and intellectual property rights (IPR), and publishing through Airlangga University Press.

Vision & Mission

To become an independent, innovative, and leading Institute for Research and Community Service at both national and international levels, excelling and dynamic in the application of science, technology, and the humanities, grounded in religious morality.

  1. Enhance the capacity and quality of lecturers, students, and administrative staff in the fields of Innovation, Journal Development, Publishing, and Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) by developing SMART strategies.
  2. Increase the quantity and quality of publications, journals, and innovation-IPR outputs that align with the university’s quality assurance program and its publication, journal, and innovation-IPR roadmap.
  3. Strengthen the performance and quality of publishing to become a center for scientific book publishing across all fields of study, as well as general books, especially in digital formats that meet the standards of a scientific publishing house.
  4. Expand publishing market networks both nationally and internationally.

Tasks and Objectives

  1. Based on Morality: Every member of the Airlangga community acts in accordance with moral values, ensuring their behavior aligns with established rules and norms.
