Legal reform as the foundation for national progress

The Coordinating Minister’s role in overseeing this process is both strategic and vital,” said Prof. Madyan.

He added that the lecture was an important opportunity to enrich academic discussions and build a stronger bridge between government policy and university-based research. According to him, law students must understand the broader context of national policymaking to become future legal professionals who uphold integrity and justice. The lecture also served as a platform for students and legal practitioners to gain insight into the government’s direction in reforming Indonesia’s legal system.
Prof. Madyan concluded his address by thanking all those involved in organizing the event. “We deeply appreciate the Minister’s presence and his willingness to share his knowledge with the Airlangga community.
