UNAIR NEWS – The Career and Alumni Impact Center (PKKA) Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) held an Employer Reputation (ER) Coordination Meeting on Tuesday (Oct. 14, 2025) as part of a strategic initiative to boost the university’s position in international rankings, particularly the QS World University Rankings (QS WUR). The meeting was chaired by Prof. Dr. Nisful Laila, SE, M.Comm., and attended by vice deans from various faculties, focusing on policy direction and setting clear targets for strengthening UNAIR’s employer reputation for the 2025–2026 period.

Throughout the session, participants actively shared ideas, strategies, and best practices aimed at increasing Employer Reputation voter engagement. Several engagement initiatives were proposed, including employer gatherings, alumni networking activities, and newsletters for industry partners. These programs are expected to enhance employers’ involvement and encourage more positive evaluations of UNAIR graduates’ competencies and professionalism.

 

By fostering collaboration between PKKA and all faculties, UNAIR reaffirmed its commitment to building stronger connections with the professional world and its alumni network. The initiative not only supports UNAIR’s goal of reaching the QS WUR global ranking range of #230–250, but also demonstrates the university’s dedication to advancing the sustainability and real-world impact of its graduates. Through close synergy among academia, alumni, and industry partners, Universitas Airlangga remains confident in strengthening its standing as one of Indonesia’s and the world’s leading universities.
