The Honorable coordinator of Campus France Indonesia
The Honorable Vice-Rectors, Deans, and all distinguished guests.
Alhamdulillahirabbil’alamin, we all can gather here to meet with the representatives from the Embassy of France in Jakarta and the representatives from IFI Surabaya to discuss the future potential collaboration between both institutions.
Projecting to be a World Class University, many necessary aspects need to be accomplished by UNAIR such as advancing international standard curriculum, developing students’ capability to match the international standard education system, implementing global value in every aspect of international education, and also in designing collaboration with governmental institutions and non-governmental institutions to work together on improving educational services.
We do believe that we will not be able to work alone. Thus, inter-universities collaboration and cooperation are deemed to be considerably important. Through internationalization, by way of cooperation amongst universities, many universities, including Universitas Airlangga experience improvement in their quality of education.
Universitas Airlangga is continuing in expanding its networking with many overseas universities all over the world including fellow European universities receiving international students and scholars, and sending its students and lectures to all corners of the world, including with fellow University from France. We believe, will have stimulating effects on comprehensive aspects of university life.
Universitas Airlangga and the Embassy of France in Indonesia share the same commitment, which is to strengthen the social, cultural, and educational exchanges among not only the countries but also globally. We welcome the offer to promote mutual understanding and friendship among the people, especially the young generations such as our students. Thank you for your keen intention to share with all of us, how we can move forward and discuss future cooperation between our institutions. Finally, I am wishing you have a fruitful meeting.
