UNAIR NEWS – Universitas Airlangga will hold another professor inauguration on July 26-27, 2023. Addressing the agenda, UNAIR Rector Prof Dr Mohammad Nasih SE MT Ak CMA held a press conference at the Balairua, Management Building, UNAIR MERR-C Campus, Tuesday, July 25, 2023.

He expressed his gratitude for the new professors’ achievements. The inauguration is a proof of UNAIR’s dedications in running the Tri Dharma of Higher Education.

“Alhamdulillah, UNAIR is reaping the results of our past efforts. Many appointment letters (SK) for professorship have been issued. UNAIR will have more professors,” Prof Nasih said.

Seven professors from various disciplines

UNAIR will inaugurate seven professors, they are Prof Dr drg Taufan Bramantoro MKes, Prof Dr drg Muhammad Luthfi MKes, Prof Dr Tintin Sukartini SKp MKes, Prof Dr Ir Gunanti Mahasri MSi, Prof Iman Harymawan SE MBA PhD, Prof Dr Phil Toetik Koesbardiati, dan Prof Dr Joni Wahyuhadi dr SpBS(K) MARS.

The professors come from different expertise, including medicine, dentistry, nursing, accounting economics, anthropology, and fisheries and marine science.

“We are going to inaugurate seven new professors from multiple fields of expertise that include medicine, dentistry, nursing, accounting economics, anthropology, and fisheries and marine science,” he said.

Increasing contribution

Prof. Nasih stated that the increase in the number of professors opens up new opportunities for UNAIR. Through the role of professors and their respective disciplines, he hoped that UNAIR can make a more significant contribution and impact on society. Thus, UNAIR will be recognized as a university that actively contributes to the advancement of human civilization.

“We hope to increase the university’s contribution and make significant impacts to the community. Hopefully, UNAIR will bring more contributions to the welfare and humanity,” said the Faculty of Economics and Business professor.
