UNAIR NEWS – Having a creative and innovative spirit is one of the important things that an entrepreneur must own. To build this spirit, students from the Faculty of Public Health (FKM), School of Health and Natural Sciences (SIKIA) UNAIR held PHENTUSIAS (Public Health Entrepreneurship Festival) seminar on Thursday, June 16, 2022. The activity was held at SIKIA UNAIR Multipurpose Building and attended by SIKIA students and the general public.

When interviewed by UNAIR NEWS, the chief executive of the event, Dimas Ahmad Nurullah Subekti, revealed that PHENTUSIAS is an annual activity held as an output of the integration entrepreneurship course as well as to build an entrepreneurial spirit.

“The Public Health Entrepreneurship Festival is held as the final project of the integration entrepreneurship course where the 4th-semester students of Public Health science were running this event,” he explained.

The activity, which was packaged as an entrepreneurship seminar and student-made product bazaar, was themed “Shaping the Spirit of Young Entrepreneurs for Public Health Problems through the Development of Digital Technology in the Industrial Era 4.0”. Presenting two speakers who are experts in their fields, the owner of the Enggal Pharmacist, Fenty Frestaniasari SKM talked about Growing and Shaping the Spirit of Young Entrepreneurs and the owner of Mobile Cafe, Novian Dharma Putra, presented material on Optimizing Business Branding in the Digital Era.

On that occasion, Novian mentioned that to start a business, we can start from what we can. “The key is starting from the intention, from the things we can, the things we have, and most importantly starting now,” he said.

Responding to the activity, Dimas revealed that this event was very inspiring and could be a forum for students to learn about the entrepreneurship process. In the future, Dimas hopes that Phentusias activities can be held regularly and be a forum for developing an entrepreneurial spirit.

“Hopefully, in the future, this event will be planned even better and can be fully supported by the campus as one of the developments of student skills and not only hold seminars and bazaars but also hold entrepreneurial competitions,” he concluded.
