Introduction to East Java biotechnology start-up
Biotechnology is one of the fast-growing start-up fields in East Java. Biotechnology plays a major role in sustainable environmental management and brings impact as the human population increases.
“We can imagine that billions of people need nutrition, food, medicine, which can only be produced through biotechnology. The world’s problems regarding global warming and climate change can be saved with biotechnology,” said Amak Mohamad Yaqoub SE MSM, UNAIR Masters lecturer and owner of Spirulife Company.
Amak further explained that this biotechnology start-up is a promising business considering that there are many health and environmental problems in Indonesia that have not been resolved.
“As long as there are problems, biotechnology is needed,” said Amak.
