UNAIR NEWS – To support Sustainable Development Goal 17: Partnerships for the goals, Prof. Zeev Bohbot from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden, visited SDGs Center UNAIR on Monday, May 8, 2023. The visit was part of a collaborative effort to strengthen academic partnerships in achieving the SDGs.
In his visit, Prof. Bohbot stressed the importance of partnership and collaboration between stakeholders, including academics, government and civil society organizations. KTH Royal Institute of Technology is making initiatives in research, education, and outreach to achieve the SDGs. He also highlighted the institute’s efforts to support SDGs at UNAIR, including sending students to study and conduct research at UNAIR.
Meanwhile, SDGs Center Secretary, Hakim, attended the meeting with other staff representing UNAIR and SDGs Center. UNAIR SDGs Center Secretary expressed his appreciation for Prof. Bohbot’s visit and his willingness to share his expertise and experience. The head of the SDGs Center also expressed their approval and commitment to work closely with the institute in achieving the SDGs and ensuring a sustainable future for all.
“We are delighted to have Prof Bohbot here with us today,” said the Secretary of SDGs Center. “Your visit is a big step to strengthen our partnership and achieve the SDGs. We are excited to explore collaboration opportunities and work together towards a better future.”
Professor Bohbot’s visit is expected to strengthen the partnership between KTH Royal Institute of Technology and UNAIR and help bridge the gap between research and policy. Such collaborations will lead to innovative solutions to the world’s most pressing challenges and create a better future for all.
