UNAIR NEWS – The Faculty of Vocational Studies (FV) Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) is broadening its industrial partnerships as part of a strategic effort to offer vocational education that is relevant, innovative, and impactful. This year, the faculty has formalized collaborations with PT Surya Global Kosmeindo, PT Wahana Pronatural, and As-Sakinah Cooperative.

Through these partnerships, the Faculty of Vocational Studies aims to bridge student innovation with real market needs. The collaboration with PT Surya Global Kosmeindo is focused on developing and commercializing student-designed products. Meanwhile, the partnership with PT Wahana Pronatural involves beverage supply for campus events and the management of vending machines. The agreement with As-Sakinah Cooperative is intended to strengthen students’ hands-on understanding of business management and microeconomic practices.
Education–industry synergy

Dean of the Vocational Studies, Prof Dr Dian Yulie Reindrawati, said the partnerships demonstrate a strong alignment between academic learning and industry application. “We want to ensure that students’ creativity and innovation extend beyond the laboratory. With support from industry partners, their work can grow, reach the market, and deliver real benefits to the community. We hope these collaborations continue and open doors to future innovations,” she said.
These long-term partnerships reinforce the faculty’s commitment to building an applied education ecosystem that is productive, adaptable, and ready to address the demands of today’s workforce.
