FISIP and the University of Melbourne enhance academic partnership

UNAIR NEWS – The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) has officially renewed its Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with the Faculty of Arts, University of Melbourne, Australia, on Friday, August 30, 2024. The signing ceremony was held at the Dean’s Office, Building A, FISIP UNAIR. The MoA was signed by Prof. Kate McGregor, Vice Dean of the University of Melbourne, and Prof. Dr. Bagong Suyanto Drs MSi, Dean of FISIP UNAIR.

This agreement reaffirms both institutions’ commitment to fostering collaboration in academics and research. The partnership aims to promote innovation through cooperative and constructive academic initiatives that provide mutual benefits.

The scope of the collaboration includes joint research efforts, the promotion and facilitation of doctoral opportunities, and the exchange of academic staff. Furthermore, the agreement covers organizing guest lectures, sharing academic information and materials, and developing student exchange programs.

One of the notable successes of this partnership is the guest lecture series hosted by academics from the University of Melbourne. Under the previous MoA, a guest lecture series was successfully conducted by academics from the University of Melbourne at FISIP UNAIR, which reflects optimism for future collaborations.

With the renewal of the MoA, it is anticipated that the partnership between FISIP UNAIR and the University of Melbourne will further strengthen their academic relations.
