UNAIR NEWS – Universitas Airlangga students keep making wonderful achievements in various fields. They come up with creative ideas and innovations in academic and creative fields.
This time, Shabrina Alif Nur Ani, Karisma Cholifatun Nuzullah, and Anggie Avrillia Indriana won third place in the Management Culture Event for their creative video on Tuesday, December 20, 2022.
The Management Culture Event is an annual competition held by the Management of Islamic Education program of IAIN Ponorogo, East Java. Two competitions were held: video creative and school plan, exploring Managerial Achievement in Education 5.0 as the main theme.
The three students joined the creative video competition by exploring the idea of educational digitalization with the title “Digitalization of Education to Realize Golden Indonesia 2045”. Shabrina stated that the topic was to realize the students’ contributions to education. She believed that students should take part in improving the quality of national education. Therefore, Shabrina, Karisma, and Anggie proposed the idea of digitalization as the adaptation process and innovation to improve the nation’s educational quality.
“For the background, we want our education system to adapt to digitalization and technology,” Shabrina said.
As time goes by, educational digitalization gets more essential. Through the Ministry of Education and Culture, the Government has also been promoting educational digitalization through the ‘Merdeka Belajar’ program.
She believed educational innovations are necessary to improve Indonesia’s quality of education in various aspects. Therefore, she hoped that their work can be used for future reference.
“Hopefully, our work may set off new ideas for another competition. We also hope that the idea may provide reference and learning material for related parties,” she said.
