UNAIR NEWS – Prof. Dr. Mohammad Nasih SE MT Ak, Rector of Universitas Airlangga inaugurated 1.320 graduates on Saturday, March 4, 2023. The offline graduation ceremony was held at the Airlangga Convention Center (ACC) MERR (C) Campus.
The 1.320 graduates consisted of 105 three-year diploma students, 20 four-year diploma students, 952 undergraduate students, 208 master’s students, and 35 doctoral students.
The Chairperson of UNAIR Alumni Association (IKA UNAIR) Dra Hj Khofifah Indar Parawansa MSi, also attended the event. She said that the graduates officially become members of UNAIR’s Alumni Association.
“With IKA UNAIR, let us show dedication and services to the university, community, and Indonesia,” said the East Java Governor.
She encouraged graduates to be strong people, quoting Tulus’s song with the same title. Contextually, she encouraged them to build resilience in facing global economic instability.

In her graduation speech, one of the Faculty of Law (FH) graduates, Felicia Tanalina Ylma said that today, the graduates have succeeded in making achievements after all the hard work and sacrifices.
“This moment and honors add to our moral responsibilities. Our educational responsibility may have been accomplished, but the academic responsibility will always be on us,” Felicia said.
Representing her fellow graduates, Felicia is proud to be graduated from the 369th-best university worldwide, according to the QS World University Ranking. This achievement cannot be separated from the alumni and the rector’s management hard work.
Therefore, she encouraged all her colleagues to maintain the alma mater’s positive reputation and uphold UNAIR’s slogan, “Excellence with Morality.”
“Never stop learning because life will always give us lessons. Believe that your efforts do not go unrewarded, thank you, my beloved Airlangga,” Felicia said.
