Head of Institute for Research and Community Services (LPPM)

LPPM is the Institute for Research and Community Services. “Domestic Cooperation” at Universitas Airlangga involves collaboration with stakeholders across all aspects, both within the scope of the tri dharma of higher education and beyond. In addition, BKMP also manages and coordinates the activities of Academic Business Units (SUA) at the university, unit, or faculty levels within Universitas Airlangga.

Vision & Missions

To become an independent, innovative, and leading Institute for Research and Community Services at the national and international levels—excellent and dynamic in the application of science, technology, and the humanities—grounded in religious morality.

  1. Enhance the capability and quality of the academic community in research activities by developing the LRAISE++ aspects, and foster a culture of community service rooted in ethical values and religious morals.
  2. Increase the quantity and quality of research aligned with the university’s quality assurance program and research roadmap, and apply the outcomes of science, technology, and the humanities in a planned manner for the benefit of society, carried out by Universitas Airlangga’s academic community.
  3. Implement community service programs, including education and training initiatives, based on the results of service activities and relevant to the needs of the community.
  4. Strengthen and expand the quantity and quality of research and partnership collaborations with governmental and private institutions, both internally and at the national and international levels, in an effective, efficient, and transparent manner to support regional autonomy and national development.
  5. Strive for independence in research and innovation activities through quality-oriented institutional management, with the capability to compete at the international level.

Tasks and Objectives

  1. Foster an academic culture oriented toward service, supported by technical skills in the application of science, technology, and the humanities, based on individual and/or group expertise.
  2. Create opportunities for the transfer of science, technology, and humanities by the academic community for the benefit of society.
  3. Open opportunities for partnership collaborations and networking, both internally and externally, at national and international levels, to support community development.
