Besides being used to support academic activities within Unair, the building, located on Dharmawangsa (B) Campus, also functions as a business center and a meeting hall.

This building is usually used by Unair to hold big events such as campus ceremonial activities, events, concerts, seminars, and others. The campus ceremonial activities held here include New Student Admission, New Student Inauguration, and Universitas Airlangga Graduation. This building has a capacity of more than 7,000 people. This building can be accessed via Unair Flash Bus from Dharmahusada (A) and Dharmawangsa (B) Campus.
Graha BIK-IPTEKDOK is an Education Facility Building of the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Airlangga, which contains a Student Activity Center, Prayer Room, Auditorium, Library, and Language and Computer Laboratory. Apart from being used for student seminars, workshops, midterm exams, final semester exams, and other student activities, Graha BIK-IPTEKDOK is also used for external user activities such as wedding receptions, public seminars, graduations, and inaugurations.
The use of academic and non-academic facilities can be accessed through the Space Utilization System (SIPARU) of the Directorate of Facilities and Infrastructure, Universitas Airlangga.
