UNAIR NEWS – The Regent of Pamekasan H Baddrut Tamam SPsi stated that Pamekasan is ready to work together and collaborate for the clinical trial of Merah Putih Vaccine. The Merah Putih Vaccine is one of the innovations and important contributions of Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) in handling the Covid-19 pandemic.

He conveyed the collaboration commitment on Saturday, July 24, 2022, in UNAIR ASEEC Tower. Tamam said that Pamekasan residents highly anticipate the vaccine made by the nation’s children.

“In the future, concept maturation with a variety of activities will be prepared, so that this event will have the best impact on the community,” he explained.

Therefore, Tamam expected active support from Postgraduate School (SPS) UNAIR in realizing the collaboration between the two agencies. He conveyed the message and request directly in a meeting with the Vice Rector for Research, Innovation, and Community Development, Prof. Dr. Ni Nyoman Tri Puspaningsih MSi.

Deputy Director 3 SPS UNAIR, Dr H Suparto Wijoyo SH MHum and Head of the Startup Business Development and Incubation Agency (BPBRIN) UNAIR Dr Muhamad Nafik Hadi Ryandono SE MSi, also attended the meeting. The commitment to collaboration was welcomed with open arms by UNAIR.

Tamam is listed as a student of SPS UNAIR Master of Law and Development Science Study Program. The meeting was held after the defense exam to complete his studies. (*)
