Surabaya – Humas | On (14/12/2022), The Faculty of Social and Political Science, Universitas Airlangga (FISIP UNAIR) Received a visitation from SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Jember (senior high school institution). The event was a campus introduction activity aimed at the students so they could know more about FISIP UNAIR including its major, accreditation, facility, and campus life. It was known that the meeting was held at Soetandyo hall, Building B, FISIP UNAIR, Surabaya which was attended by 50 students and 4 teachers.  

It was noted that the event was divided into several sessions, which are (1) opening; (2) a greeting from Sulikah Asmorowati S.Sos., M.DEVSt., Ph.D. as the third Vice Dean; (3) the explanation about FISIP UNAIR’s profile company by Probo Drano Yakti, S. Hub. Int., M. Hub. Int as the Dean Coordinator; (4) question and answer session; and (5) closing. On that occasion, the participants actively asked to find out more about FISIP UNAIR so they would have an idea to plan their future lectures.  

One of the was Yudha, a student of SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Jember who explained that “After attending this visitation activity and paying attention to the explanation earlier, I have the interest to study at FISIP UNAIR. Especially, consideration between Anthropology and Communication Science majors. The event was exciting and insightful, making me an idea of what should I do in the future,” said Yudha enthusiastically. Not only stopping there, but FISIP UNAIR also invited the students and the teacher from SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Jember to tour the lecture buildings. One of them, was the United Nation room, Elexa room, and The Death Ethnography Museum (NA, PDA).
