Puteri Indonesia 2020, Ayuma gives tips to be high achievers

UNAIR NEWS – Ayuma is well-known as Puteri Indonesia 2020. She is active in her works and achievements in the modeling world. Raden Roro Ayu Maulidya Putri, was one of the outstanding alumni of Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR).

As Puteri Indonesia 2020, Ayuma admitted that she was thrilled to be known by a wide audience and had more opportunities to inspire many parties. However, it is not uncommon for her to be bullied through social media.

“In social media, people are easier to judge. There are likes and dislikes. Maybe they (with dislikes, ed) have other options,” said the Indonesian representative at the Miss Universe 2020 event.

Even though she is busy in modeling, the alumna of Faculty of Law (FH) UNAIR does not necessarily forget her academic achievements. The 2019 Asia Model Festival Grand Prize Winner admitted that she always put school first, as her mother always taught her.

Ayuma said that she always arranges his activities based on priorities. The model from Surabaya even has her own agenda book to manage her schedule. Both in college and in her career as a model.

“It’s all about priorities. The sooner we graduate, the sooner we can start a career in the real world. The longer you dwell there and there, your time is divided and you can’t go all out,” she said.

The winner of Best Catwalk Female Model at Indonesia Fashion Week 2019 also shared that she always takes advantage from her classes to develop her talents. Even though she has non-academic activities, she could still take part in final exams and got satisfactory grades. 

The 175 cm tall woman advised the students to maximize their grades. According to her, if you do not give optimal effort in a four-year course, you will regret it for the rest of your life.

“We have seventy-five percent attendance requirement, twenty-five percent can be used for positive things in their respective fields, extracurricular, leadership. In Law, there is ALSA, there is ILSA. Join them,” she said. (*)
