UNAIR NEWS – Ramadan is a month every Muslim waiting for. All members of the Muslim communities rejoice in welcoming this blessed month. Almost all Muslims long for it and want to do a lot of good deeds during Ramadan.
Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) Rector Prof. Dr. Mohammad Nasih SE MT Ak also welcomed Ramadan with great joy. According to him, on Thursday, April 7, 2022, many reasons make Ramadan a long-awaited month.
“Ramadan is full of blessings that do not exist outside Ramadan,” he explained.
Furthermore, Ramadan is also full of goodness. The coming of Ramadan brings forth many good people ready to donate, give alms, aid, and facilitate the people’s affairs.
“Hopefully, we can all reap all the goodness that has been sown during the holy and blessed Ramadan,” he said.
Investments of good deeds
The Professor of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UNAIR continued, Ramadan is a bridge for Muslims, ushering them to Eid al-Fitr. In welcoming Eid, according to the language of management, Muslims must prepare well.
“In welcoming Eid, we must achieve perfection in Ramadan,” explained Prof. Nasih.
In business language, he continued, the holiday is like harvest time. Muslims can harvest during Eid, only if they carry out the sowing process during Ramadan. Whoever brings Ramadan to perfection with investments of goodness, then they will be able to enjoy and reap the results during Eid.
“There will be hopes for harvests, celebrations, and hopes for returning to fitri (purity), by achieving perfection in the month of Ramadan,” he added.
The investments of good deeds, said the rector, are both the learning process and self-transformation to return to purity. “By perfecting Ramadan, we can celebrate Eid holiday with even more joys,” he said. (*)
