Ladies and gentlemen,
Alhamdulillah! Praise be to Allah, The Almighty, for giving us the opportunity to gather here at SECOND ONLINE SUMMER SCHOOL ON COMPARATIVE REGIONALISM: The Future of Regionalism After COVID-19 PANDEMIC in good health.
I would like to extend my gratitude to the Universitas Airlangga Postgraduate School for organizing this event. May this collaborative event with United Nations University Institute on Comparative Regional Integration Studies (UNU-CRIS) and International School of Economics of M. Ladies and gentlemen,
The Covid-19 pandemic has led to a transformation triggering a discussion on global future and world order. Furthermore, the pandemic has amplified global socio-economic, political and geopolitical condition. And when we are recovering from pandemic, issues are arising on state and regional organizations’ roles, acceleration of geopolitics recovery, and the future of regionalism after Covid-19.
This SECOND ONLINE SUMMER SCHOOL ON COMPARATIVE REGIONALISM has gathered regional and international intellectuals with different backgrounds to discuss the future of regionalism.
Ladies and gentlemen,
We really appreciate the topic chosen for this event, The Future of Regionalism After COVID-19 PANDEMIC. For comparative regionalism academics, post-pandemic world order would be very interesting to discuss. Furthermore, this opportunity can be used to address the local and regional roles in dealing with challenges in socio-economics, politics and geopolitics.
May this session bring forth ideas, thoughts and solutions that can be proposed to re-stabilize the regions, especially to maintain economic, political and other sectors’ stabilities.
Ladies and gentlemen,
Once again, I really appreciate the collaboration between Universitas Airlangga Postgraduate School, United Nations University Institute on Comparative Regional Integration Studies (UNU-CRIS), and International School of Economics of M. Narikbayev KAZGUU University.
May this discussion from many international experts and scientists lead to significant impacts to the regional and global world order after the pandemic.
Ladies and gentlemen,
Finally, have a great conference, and hopefully, our participation in this event can be our contributions to the community, and may all of us always have the blessing of Allah SWT.
