Prof. Mochammad Amin Alamsjah, Ir., M.Si., Ph.D., UNAIR’s Vice Rector for Academic, Student, and Alumni Affairs, welcomed the assessors. Dr. Saiful Akbar emphasized that their role was not to audit but to conduct an objective evaluation. “We serve as independent reviewers, free from assumptions, which allows us to ensure maximum objectivity,” he said.

The first day of the visit included the signing of field assessment documents, discussions on accreditation criteria A, B, C1, C2, and E, and inspections of classrooms, faculty offices, laboratories, and other facilities. The day concluded with a review of criteria C3 through C9, as well as D, which covers program-specific supplements.

On the second day, the assessors interviewed faculty members, administrative staff, students, and alumni of the program. Discussions addressed topics such as professional certifications, workplace health and safety, welfare, and the development of both technical and soft skills, including IT proficiency. During the alumni session, Prof. Niswar noted that graduates spoke highly of FTMM. He also remarked on the enthusiasm shown by students in communicating their ideas and praised the faculty’s relatively young staff, saying their energy and agility were positive assets for the program.
