UNAIR NEWS – February 12 marks the anniversary of the Faculty of Psychology (FPsi) Universitas Airlangga. To commemorate the special occasion, the Faculty of Psychology UNAIR celebrates its 40th anniversary at the MERR (C) Campus UNAIR on February 12, 2023.
The lecturers, administrative staff, students, and alumni gathered to celebrate the event, which was themed: Creativity for Mental Health.
“The Faculty of Psychology has contributed to Universitas Airlangga. Today, let’s celebrate our 40-year-hard work,” Dr. Nur Ainy Fardana N MSi Psikolog said in her welcoming speech.
This year, the faculty has prepared various interesting event programs. The event started with a fun walk and morning exercise. The lecturers, administrative staff, students, and alumni participated enthusiastically in the event.
The anniversary event also offers kids playgrounds, learning styles psychology tests, MBTI personality tests, snake and ladder games, educative media for disaster mitigation, and fine and gross motor stimulation.
One of the event’s highlights was the MBTI personality test. The visitors can take personality tests for free with the experts, who explained the most suitable career according to the personality test result.
Children could enjoy the playground, improve creativity, and stimulate their fine and gross motor skills through kinetic sand.
The festive event ran smoothly and ended with the door prizes winner announcement and a traditional dance performance from the local disabled community.
The 40th-anniversary event of the Faculty of Psychology UNAIR has provided entertainment, and educative benefits and let people learn more about the faculty.
