UNAIR NEWS – The Faculty of Vocational Studies Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) held a strategic meeting with Dr. Eric Vermeulen from the Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC), the Netherlands, on Tuesday, October 7, 2025. The session, held at the Faculty Club Room, Building C, brought together the Dean and senior leadership of the Faculty of Vocational Studies.
The meeting served to explore and strengthen collaborative opportunities between UNAIR and LUMC, particularly in vocational education, applied research, and professional development for faculty and students. Through this partnership, the faculty continues to expand its global network as part of its mission to enhance academic excellence and produce skilled, adaptable, and globally competitive graduates.
The dean, Prof. Dian Yulie Reindrawati, S.Sos., M.M., Ph.D., noted that partnering with LUMC marks a strategic milestone in expanding international engagement while reinforcing the implementation of a teaching factory model that aligns with global industry demands.
The Faculty of Vocational Studies remains committed to supporting Universitas Airlangga’s vision of becoming a World-Class University through productive, innovative, and sustainable international collaborations.
