UNAIR NEWS – Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) Alumni Association of Faculty of Economics and Business (IKAFE) held an East Java alumni meeting on Friday, August 12, 2022. Being held at Hotel Bumi Surabaya, the meeting was aimed at strengthening alumni ties and disseminating the collaboration program between the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) and its alumni.
“This evening, we gather here, East Java IKAFE, of course, to strengthen ties. We are looking for new traces of IKAFE alumni. The role of alumni is expected to help the Faculty of Economics and Business to improve the KPI (Key Performance Indicators) for the success of Universitas Airlangga, “said the Chairman of IKAFE, H Fandi Ahmad Yani S E.
The Gresik Regent realized that many of the alumni of FEB UNAIR have been successful and spread to various places in Indonesia. So the presence of alumni to return to the faculty, collaborate, and build good relations with fellow alumni and FEB students is certainly something to be excited for.
In the event, “Road to Sambang Kampus,” there was also a launch of a program related to alumni service to the university. The program is in the form of fundraising aimed at helping the learning process and career development of UNAIR FEB students.
“There is one thing that needs to be highlighted, our alumni (UNAIR FEB) have become many successful CEOs, we expect their support in the sense that FEB (students) graduation has become the responsibility of alumni,” said Yani to the media crew.
Meanwhile, the Dean of FEB UNAIR, Prof. Dr. Dian Agustia SE Si Ak, appreciated the alumni willingness to return and support the faculty. She stated that she would always support all forms of positive activities organized by alumni.
“The university will be ‘alive’ if the alumni always remember the university and we are always open to fellow alumni,” said Prof. Dian.
Prof. Dian continued that a collaboration program between alumni and FEB UNAIR will be carried out in the future. Among these programs are the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) teaching and institutional collaboration for 1000 students to serve the nation.
“Many alumni may have become leaders of an institution, later on, we will hold ‘CEO teaching’ and there will be a google drive that can inform about it. And we also have programs collaborating with institutions or companies with 1000 students serving the nation, “explained Prof. Dian.
