UNAIR NEWS – Universitas Airlangga opens 10 International Undergraduate Programs (IUP) for the academic year 2023/2024. The IUP consists of four programs in Life Sciences and Medicine, which include Medicine, Dental Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, and Pharmacy, and six programs in Social Science, which include Psychology, Law, Accounting, Management, Islamic Economics, and Development Economics.

The ten IUP programs have received international accreditations like AUN-QA, ABEST21, ASIIN, and FIBAA. The accreditations mark UNAIR’s commitment to excel in academics and morality standards.
In March, the Airlangga Global Engagement (AGE) will conduct an inventory and evaluation of UNAIR international programs, including the International Undergraduate Programs. Director of AGE Iman Harymawan Ph.D. stated that they are currently mapping the problems and solutions for each IUP of UNAIR.
“Is it the right time for development or improvement of the existing programs?” he said.
The IUP is open to all Indonesian citizens and foreigners. After finishing the IUP, the student, who joins the double degree program, will also get a bachelor’s degree from UNAIR and university abroad. They will gain problem-solving skills, strategic and analytical thinking, creative thinking, and developing new ideas.
To join the IUP, the student must prepare several documents, such as a graduation certificate, English proficiency certificate, portfolio, and letter of motivation and commitment. Several IUPs like Medicine, Dental Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, and Pharmacy, require students with scientific field backgrounds and pass the color vision test.

The admission schedule for IUP includes verification of registration documents, document revision period, and payment of registration fees from January 16 to March 24, 2023. Announcement of administrative selection and academic tests on March 27 and March 29, 2023. The final announcement will be released on April 1, 2023.
