UNAIR NEWS – At the beginning of 2022, Universitas Airlangga held another working meeting which was attended by the Heads of Departments and Coordinators of Study Programs of Universitas Airlangga. The meeting was opened directly by UNAIR Rector, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Nasih, SE., MT., Ak., on Monday, January 24, 2022 at the Ballroom of Marriott Hotel Yogyakarta.
UNAIR Rector said the presence of the Heads of Departments and Coordinators of Study Programs shows their sincerity and commitment to great kindness and a strong responsibility to make Universitas Airlangga’s alma mater better. “With this sincerity, hopefully, UNAIR’s achievements in 2022 will be even better,” he hoped.
Prof. Nasih said that the working meeting aims to seek knowledge through discussion among the Heads of Departments and Coordinators of Study Programs. The discussion covers the implementation of performance evaluations and answers to all existing problems.
“Knowledge must be sought and explored. It is not knowledge that is forced to enter our minds.
Therefore, we gather here for the purpose of sharing and getting as much knowledge as possible,” said UNAIR Rector.
The Heads of Departments and Coordinators of Study Programs, he continued, are expected to be able to carry out self-evaluation to see shortcomings and find solutions to determine what steps will be taken in 2022. The action plan aims to design real activities and increase the benefits of UNAIR graduates by adding blessings to students and contributing significantly in local, national, and international areas.
According to him, increasing UNAIR’s achievements from time to time will not make UNAIR careless and lulled. However, we have to maintain evaluation by reflecting and solving all existing problems.
“We have to be able to solve problems together. We have to realize that UNAIR is far from perfect. Therefore, it is necessary for us to have input and suggestions from the Heads of Departments and Coordinators of Study Programs for the good and progress of UNAIR. Hopefully, all institutions, agencies, and directorates can facilitate the needs of the Heads of Departments and Coordinators of Study Programs,” he hoped.
“Input from the Heads of Departments and Coordinators of Study Programs will produce something tangible in UNAIR’s work program in 2022,” he concluded.
