The Veterinary Hospital was established at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Universitas Airlangga, and was officially founded on January 1, 1972, based on the decree of the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia. At that time, it was still a veterinary clinic that was part of the Department of Veterinary Clinics. This veterinary clinic also served as a learning facility for students of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, both in the Veterinary Medicine undergraduate program and the Veterinary Professional Program.
To become a leading Veterinary Hospital at the national and international levels in providing comprehensive services, education, and research in the field of animal health, distinguished by excellence, independence, and dignity, based on religious morality and ethical principles towards community welfare.
To become an adaptive, creative, and proactive Veterinary Hospital in response to the demands of advancements in scientific knowledge and technology in animal health treatment.
