Young Ambassador for East Java 2024

The East Java Young Ambassador is a collaborative program between PT Wincent Simpor Group (Simpor Group Pageant) and the Yayasan Duta Indonesia. The competition took place over three consecutive days, from January 12 to 14, 2024.

“I joined in a series of selections starting from written test, semi-finals, and the grand final. During the grand final round, I joined a three-day quarantine, the stages were getting even more challenging,” Naila said.

Naila’s passion for dance and fashion shows proved to be the motivation behind her journey to becoming an ambassador. She believed that an ambassador doesn’t solely rely on beauty but must also possess various skills.

“The ambassador competition is beyond a beauty pageant, it showcases a lot of talents. The evaluation focuses on the skills showcased by each participant during the competition,” she said.

As a young generation, Naila promotes the value of education. This aspect demands special attention because it is a key to future success.

“Success belongs to those who strive for it. One effort to realize dreams is through pursuing higher education,” she said.

Education is constantly related to literacy like two sides of a coin. Young people must put more interest in literacy.

“Indonesian people have a low interest in reading. As a matter of fact, education is always closely related to literacy. Therefore, to encourage young people to develop reading habits, the importance of literacy must be emphasized,” Naila said.
