UNAIR NEWS – “Improving Synergy and Stakeholders Collaboration in the Changing Process for Optimum Results” is a major theme of Leadership Meeting (Rakerpim) held by officials in Universitas Airlangga. Located at Novotel Lombok resort and villas, Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, the meeting was held on Friday, January 26.
In this meeting, in the opening remarks of UNAIR Rector Prof. Dr. Moh. Nasih, SE. MT., Ak., CMA., presented outstanding achievements in 2017. In addition, he also hoped that in 2018 UNAIR achievements could be better, mainly to achieve the common goal to reach the Top 500 world universities.
“I am sure that achievement in 2017 will not be as good as this if all of our leaders are concerned with their self-interest. I am very grateful to all those who have sacrificed their time, energy, and mind for UNAIR progress, “he said.
Furthermore, Prof. Nasih also encourages all deans, vice deans, and department heads to take an active role in improving international publication journals especially scopus indexed international journal.
“It is our hope that all parties will also play an active role in improving the international journal publication,” he said.
For that, Prof. Nasih rewards the faculty leaders at UNAIR who have the highest number of international publication journals. In sequence, the first rank was Faculty of Science and Technology (FST), the second was Faculty of Medicine (FK), the third was Faculty of Pharmacy (FF), ranked fourth was Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), and the fifth was Faculty of Dentistry (FKG).
At the end, Prof. Nasih also said that through the Rakerpim this time, it is hoped that by stepping together, the real achievements will be achieved by UNAIR.
“Let’s collect the bones scattered, collect the energy, unify our goals and steps, let’s together make achievements in 2018, more remarkable compared to previous years,” said Prof. Nasih.
After the opening ceremony, the event continued with the motivation of Misbahul Huda, MBA., who discussed about “Spiritual Leadership through Synergy Between Fields”. Further motivation, delivered by Prof. Rhenald Kasali, Ph.D., as Professor of FE UI who discussed about the effort to execute the process of change effectively.
