UNAIR NEWS – After graduating from the university, every student will continue to seek professional growth. Every student wants to find a job that matches their interests and talents or even get their dream job. To facilitate this, the Student Executive Board (BEM) of Universitas Airlangga Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) held a Job Fair and Walk In Interview on Thursday, September 22, 2022, in Fadjar Notonegoro Hall.

The program is a part of the 2022 Career Day series of events. Twelve companies attended the event to seek talents from the students and the UNAIR FEB alumni.

The chief executive, Galang Jaisy Sayyidina, said that the event aims to introduce various fields of work and facilitate the final year student, the fresh graduates, and the alumni. Hopefully, they get career opportunities in their dream companies and get to know various fields of the work industry.

Compared to the previous events, the 2022 Job Fair was much different. This year, the committee provided booths for the companies to share information about the job vacancies offered. Students and alums could choose the companies and apply to the positions offered. The walk-in interview, which the company arranged for interviewing candidates in a short time, was also available on the spots.

On the other hand, Gusti Ken’o Ramadewa, a second-year student of UNAIR FEB, enthusiastically joined the event. The participation of big companies encouraged him to attend.

“This job fair piques my interest, especially with the participating renowned companies, such as Bank Mandiri, Ciputra, Bank BRI,” he said.

Furthermore, Gusti hoped that the event will be conducted regularly as it would help students get to know the professional work and secure their dream job.

“Hopefully, this event can be held regularly. It is beneficial for students and job seekers. I appreciate the committees holding such a great event,” he said.
