UNAIR NEWS – Two Universitas Airlangga Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (FKH) alums successfully created a brilliant innovation. drh Yenni Trisno and drh Aisha Jenar Sukmaningbayu formulated the nation’s first chubby gummy vitamins for animals.
To UNAIR NEWS, drh Yenni said that chubby gummy is a product under Vetpicurean trademark offering holistic solutions for pets. The products were all plant-based, making them safely consumed.
“We offer non-chemical solutions for daily use. It’s safe for long-term use,” drh Yeni said on Monday, October 24, 2022.
Chubby Gummy is a unique product with cute panda form and chewy texture. It helps pawrents (pet owners) to feed their pets easier. The production process is also directly handled by veterinarians.
“We handle the making, formulating, founding, and product-selling ourselves,” said drh Yenni.

Chubby Gummy variants are available with various benefits. The tummy variant, for example, contains Foeniculum vulgare extract or Fennel extract. Apart from maintaining endurance, Vetpicurean may help relax digestive muscles, reduce gas in the digestive system, and is suitable for animals with sensitive stomachs.
drh Aisha Jenar stated that the Chubby Gummy was formulated from a scientific journal and has been tested. The product has been through some improvement according to the market’s demands.
“In the beginning, the form wasn’t very good. However, after six-month-long improvement, it gets better and even sold to other islands,” she said.
Through drh Yenni and drh Aisha’s hard work, Vetpicurean gets more renowned among pet lovers. In the Shopee e-commerce platform, the Chubby Gummy has received 1,3 thousand reviews with 4,9 ratings.
drh Aisha believed that UNAIR Start-up and Incubation Business Development Agency (BPBRIN) plays an essential part in the business. BPBRIN has supported them with advice, feedback, and technical support.
“Indirectly, BPBRIN has played a huge role in their recommendation, A, the business matching. B, the influencer advises, and C, making the company. The company will help us gain the public’s trust,” said drh Aisha.
