UNAIR NEWSÂ – Airlangga Education Expo (AEE) will be held from today, Friday to Sunday, February 23-25 at the Airlangga Convention Center (ACC), Campus C, UNAIR. For all high school students heading to higher education, AEE is a must to visit especially for those interested in continuing education at Yellow and Blue Campus, Universitas Airlangga.
Because, not just an exhibition, in AEE, there is a lot of information about UNAIR can be explored and asked. In fact, the information on faculties is provided in details by each booth. There are experts ready to answer the confusion of UNAIR prospective students.
However, for this AEE, do not miss the following three things:
- Find Inspiration Through Talk Show
Inspiration can change a person’s life in an instant. The source of inspiration can also come from anywhere and anytime. You can get it from AEE as well by following talk shows which present important expert across the field and backgrounds.
On the first day, the head of PPMB will give the tips and tricks of successful admission. The second day there will be three talk show sessions . UNAIR Rector Prof. Dr. Mohammad Nasih, SE., Mt., Ak., CMA will open the first session by discussing State University Joint Entrance Test (SBMPTN) and independent admission pathway.
Furthermore, the second session, there is a talk show ” Student Exchange Opportunity ” will be presented by Mustagfiro Yusuf. Chief Editor of Kompas Budiman Tanurejo closed the second day talk show with the theme of “Hoax vs. Precise Journalism” which was moderated by Dr. Suko Widodo, Drs., M.Si.
On the third day, there are four sessions, on “Tips on Choosing Programs Based on Interest and Abilities” by UNAIR Psychology expert, scholarships at UNAIR, student talk show and alumni achievement, also entrepreneurial students.
The prospective students who attend can take advantage of the talk shows. They may help you determining choice or change your future orientation. Use it well.
- Music Performances and Stand Up Comedy
There will be some music performances in AEE, from keroncong music, acoustics, and bands. It can be a good choice to spend the weekend. There is also information related to higher education.
The performance of high school bands, Choir feat Orchestra Universitas Airlangga, Keroncong Larasati, and HIDACOUSTIC will make AEE livelier. There is a comedyy show from Abiyoso. It could be an alternative to spend the weekend with a positive thing.
- Visit the Faculties and Iconic Buildings
Although you are not yet a student of UNAIR, visiting the campus could motivate you. In addition, recognizing UNAIR environments can amplify your resolve to study at UNAIR.
Some places you can visit such as Campus C lake, management building, and the nearest faculties. There are Faculty of Science and Technology (FST), Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Public Health (FKM), Faculty of Nursing (FKp), Faculty of Fisheries and Marine (FPK), and Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (FKH). Who knows, next year you could be in one of the faculties. Good luck. (*)
