UNAIR NEWS — The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Center Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) paid an official visit to Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ) on Thursday, May 8, 2025. The primary goal of the visit was to enhance collaboration and promote the exchange of knowledge between the two institutions, particularly concerning the governance and implementation strategies of the SDGs within the higher education sector.
The visit is part of UNAIR’s broader commitment to improving its institutional performance in the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings and to expanding inter-university partnerships in the realm of sustainability.

Representing UNAIR’s SDGs Center were two key speakers: Ahmad Safril Mubah, SIP, MHubInt, PhD, the Center’s Lead Expert Coordinator, and Moh. Agung Santoso, SHum, MM, a Data Analyst at the Center. Both representatives presented a series of best practices related to the management of SDG centers, effective methods for data collection and reporting, as well as strategies for fostering institutional synergy within UNAIR.
UNJ was represented by Dr. R.A. Murti Kusuma W, SIP, MSi, Director of Innovation, Information Systems, and Rankings; Taryudi, MT, PhD, Head of the Subdirectorate of Innovation and Downstreaming; and Tian Abdul Aziz, PhD, Head of the Subdirectorate of Information Systems and Rankings.
Also joining the discussion were members of UNJ’s SDGs Project Task Force, who play an active role in driving various campus sustainability initiatives. The event is anticipated to mark the beginning of a long-term collaboration between UNAIR and UNJ to support a more inclusive, sustainable, and socially impactful model of higher education.
