UNAIR NEWSUniversitas Airlangga’s Faculty of Advanced Technology and Multidiscipline (FTMM) opened the International Conference on Advanced Technology and Multidiscipline (ICATAM) on Thursday, Sept. 25, 2025. The annual event was held at Candradimuka Hall, Nano Building, MERR-C Campus.

This year’s ICATAM partnered with the 5th International Conference on Innovations in Power & Advanced Computing Technologies (i-PACT’25). It also collaborated with Universiti Malaya (UM) and India’s Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) to drive research and innovation in science, information, and advanced technology.

The conference was formally opened by UNAIR Vice Rector for Academic, Student, and Alumni Affairs Prof. Ir. Mochammad Amin Alamsjah, M.Si., Ph.D., and FTMM Dean Prof. Dr. Ir. Retna Apsari, M.Si., IPM.

In his opening remarks, Prof. Alamsjah welcomed leaders from UM, VIT, and FTMM, along with researchers, academics, and professionals from around the world. He said the conference placed special focus on green technology and renewable energy.

“It is an honor for UNAIR to host this year’s conference,” he said. “Let us make sure this event becomes a platform for presenters to share outstanding ideas.”
