Prof. Ir. Mochammad Amin Alamsjah, M.Si., Ph.D. is an academic and researcher in fisheries and marine sciences, currently serving as Vice Rector for Academic, Student, and Alumni Affairs Universitas Airlangga (2025–2030). He earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Brawijaya University and completed his doctoral studies at Nagasaki University, Japan, graduating as the best student in his cohort. His research focuses on marine biotechnology, seafood waste processing, and the development of downstream products based on the Blue Economy. He has received numerous prestigious research grants, including those from LPDP, Kedaireka, and the Airlangga Research Fund.
In addition to his academic roles, Prof. Alamsjah is actively engaged in professional organizations, serving as Chair of ASEAN-FEN (2025–2026) and Vice Chair of the ISPIKANI Professional Board in East Java. Beyond academia, he is deeply committed to empowering coastal communities through appropriate technological innovations, making him a key figure in advancing applied research and the sustainability of marine resources in Indonesia.
