UNAIR NEWS – To continue adapting to the digital era, Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) Library held a national seminar and workshop from Thursday to Friday, June 16-17, 2022. The event, which took place in the Parlinah Room, UNAIR Library Dharmawangsa (B) Campus, was attended by 66 participants from various universities in Indonesia.

Head of the UNAIR Library, Suhernik SSos Msi, said that at this seminar and workshop, UNAIR Library presented a topic of SMART Library for Digital Literacy. It is held to provide the latest insight and knowledge.

M Arif Rahman Hakim, the representative of Sagung Seto, said that currently, there is an accelerated change. Jobs that are growing rapidly are jobs that involve creative thinking.

“We play a role so that libraries can develop with devices. The process of borrowing, returning and others must be directed towards the smart library,” he said.

With digital libraries and digital collections, users can return, borrow, view collections, and find the books they want without involving the library staff. “In the future, we will direct developments to RFID,” he continued.
