DIRECTORATE OF ACADEMIC INNOVATION & DEVELOPMENT (DIPP)

Directorate of Academic Innovation and Development was established based on the Rector’s Decree of Universitas Airlangga Number 867/UN3/2020 dated October 19, 2020. Referred to as DIPP, the directorate was formed with the aim of supporting UNAIR in achieving its vision, implementing programs aligned with its mission, and attaining objectives with the primary target of eight key performance indicators (KPIs).

VISION

To become an independent, innovative, leading university at the national and international levels, a pioneer in the development of science, technology, humanities and arts, based on religious morality.

MISSIONS

Organizing and developing academic, professional, and/or vocational education with world-class excellence based on national values and religious morals.
Carrying out basic, applied, and innovative policy research with world-class excellence based on nationalism and religious moral values to support the development of education and to conduct community service.
Devoting its expertise in the field of science, technology, and humanities to the society.
Managing the university independently with good governance through institutional development oriented towards quality and ability to compete internationally.

Tasks and Objectives

The broad objectives of educational innovation and development at Universitas Airlangga are as follows:

Improving the quality of education;
Making learning activities more relevant and supportive of learning outcomes and competencies;
Making the teaching and learning process more economical and efficient;
Enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of the presentation system;
Making the teaching and learning process at Universitas Airlangga more engaging, easily understandable, and accessible;
Providing professional certification for graduates to improve job opportunities;
Branding Universitas Airlangga as a Smart University.
