UNAIR NEWS – To provide wider job opportunities abroad, the Faculty of Nursing Universitas Airlangga held a healthcare job fair on Monday, February 19, 2024, on the Shared Lecture Building (GKB) MERR-C Campus.
Among the guests were Prof. Dr. Elly Munadziroh drg MS, Director of the Directorate of Career Development, Entrepreneurship Incubation, and Alumni Affairs (DPKKA), and Prof. Dr. Ah Yusuf SKp, the Dean of the Faculty of Nursing. The job fair was held in collaboration with PT Binawan Inti Utama and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia.
“Many alumni, especially those in the nursing profession, have great potential to build their careers abroad,” Prof. Elly said.
She calls on all alumni to stay connected with DPKKA for their career development. Job fairs can be a shortcut to seeking recommendations and job opportunities.

Collaborating with PT Binawan Inti Utama
The Faculty of Nursing collaborated with PT Binawan Inti Utama, a recruitment company specializing in the placement and deployment of labor abroad, primarily in the Middle East.
“We facilitate our alumni to access job opportunities abroad. Some will also be assisted in the RN (Registered Nurse) registration process,” stated Fariz Amary, the Director of the Healthcare Program at PT Binawan Inti Utama.
In addition, PT Binawan Inti Utama also provides language assessments. Alumni can also consult on seeking job opportunities in foreign hospitals.
“The job requests are from hospitals abroad such as Egypt, the United States, and the Arab countries,” he said.
PT Binawan Inti Utama provides support for job preparations, covering both language and administrative aspects, and facilitates employment contracts with partner hospitals.
