UNAIR NEWS – Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) are rights granted by the state to protect intellectual property from misuse, plagiarism, and counterfeiting. Head of LIPJPHKI, Prof Hery Purnobasuki MSi PhD explained that intellectual property rights (IPR) consist of several types, namely trademarks, patents, industrial designs, copyrights, and layout designs of integrated circuits.
