Skinolaser is a laser-based therapy device designed to eliminate bacteria and accelerate wound healing. This innovation is the result of research led by Prof. Dr. Suryani Dyah Astuti.

The PKM activities commenced with a Bio Energy Power (BEP) exercise session. Before the session, Prof. Dr. Suhariningsih provided an overview of BEP, which aims to enhance health and fitness through bioenergy principles. The exercise session, primarily attended by seniors, was led by Prof. Dr. Suhariningsih.

Participants, seated in chairs, performed light stretches, breathing exercises, and fluid movements to stimulate energy flow. The movements were easy to follow and beneficial for overall health.

Following the BEP exercise, the presentations include the basic concepts of laser technology by Dr. Khusnul Ain, the development of non-invasive photonic Skinolaser technology for wound healing by Prof. Dr. Suryani Dyah Astuti, and laser acupuncture therapy by Prof. Dr. Suhariningsih.

The event was officially opened by Dr. Ambar Retnoningsih, Head of Polanharjo Community Health Center. In her speech, Dr. Retnoningsih expressed her delight at hosting the event and hoped that the knowledge shared by the UNAIR team would improve the quality of services at the health center. Prof. Dr. Suryani Dyah Astuti, the community service team leader, thanked the health center for their warm reception and hoped the contributions would be beneficial.

The presentations were moderated by Winarno, MT. Each presentation lasted 20 minutes, followed by a discussion and Q&A session.

The event continued with the handover of Skinolaser devices, user manuals, and souvenirs to Dr. Ambar Retnoningsih. This was followed by a demonstration of using Skinolaser for therapy, explaining how to operate the device, select doses, recharge, and store it. The demonstration included applying the laser on patients and collecting testimonials.

The event concluded with an evaluation and closing session. Participants filled out questionnaires for the activity evaluation, summarized by Dr. Siswanto, who reported that participants were generally very satisfied with the activities conducted by the Department of Physics, FST UNAIR. The community service event ended with a group photo.
