UKM OF SPIRITUALITY

Develop your Interest and Talents!

Universitas Airlangga has more than 60 leadership development units and student organizations. These groups are spread across different levels of organization, from that of study programs, faculties, to university. Within these groups, there are Student Activity Units (UKM).

A UKM is a forum for developing student soft skills based on their interests and talents. There are five categories of UKM in Unair, namely: UKM of the Special Category consisting of six organizations, UKM of the Art category with eight organizations, UKM of the Sports category consisting of 13 organizations, UKM of the Martial Arts category with nine organizations, and UKM of Spirituality consisting of five organizations.

1. UKM of Islam

The UKM for Islam is a forum for students to develop their Islamic spirituality in campus. This UKM also facilitates various campus development activities and learning facilities that focus on Islamic values.

2. UKM of Christianity

The UKM Christianity of Universitas Airlangga is a student activity unit that engages in spirituality and facilitates Unair Christian students. The activities carried out by this UKM focus not only on spiritual activities, but also activities that can develop the interests and talents of Unair Christian students, as well as activities that can benefit the surrounding community across ethnic, religious and racial lines.

3. UKM of Hindu Dharma

The UKM of Hindu Dharma is one of the student activity units at Universitas Airlangga that accommodates Hindu students to carry out activities based on Hinduism religious teachings in accordance with their roles and functions as Unair academic community members. The UKM of Hindu Dharma Unair has a vision of building solidarity and integrity among the university’s Hindus in creating a single Hindu family, and balancing the concept of Tri Hita Karana within UKM Hindu Dharma to build a harmonious, conducive, and caring organization.

4. UKM of Buddhism

The UKM of Buddhism of Universitas Airlangga is a student activity unit that engages in spirituality and facilitates Unair Buddhist students. The activities carried out by this UKM focus not only on spiritual activities, but also activities that can develop the interests and talents of Unair Buddhist students, as well as activities that can benefit the surrounding community across ethnic, religious and racial lines.

5. UKM of Catholicism

The UKM of Catholicism or also known as KMK Santo Aloysius Gonzaga is a student activity unit that engages in spirituality and facilitates Unair Catholic students. The activities carried out by this UKM focus not only on spiritual activities, but also activities that can develop the interests and talents of Unair Catholic students, as well as activities that can benefit the surrounding community across ethnic, religious and racial lines.
