Health synergy strategy

In his welcoming remarks, UNAIR Rector Prof Dr Muhammad Madyan SE MSi MFin emphasized that the dynamics of the health sector require universities to continually adapt and innovate. He also stressed the importance of collaboration in responding to various challenges and meeting community needs in health. β€œThis collaboration is expected to support the government’s program to meet the need for doctors, especially specialist doctors, which remains a challenge in various regions of Indonesia,” Prof. Madyan said.

Prof. Madyan also added that the presence of partner hospitals is very important as a sufficient clinical learning environment for prospective specialist doctors. Through direct practice, the students can develop competencies and clinical skills in accordance with the applicable educational standards.

“More than just supporting the sufficiency of the number of specialist doctors, this partnership is also expected to expand opportunities for prospective specialist doctors. This is to obtain adequate educational and clinical training facilities,” he said.

Increase collaboration within the health sector.

Prof. Madyan emphasized that the scope of this collaboration will extend to all health-related faculties at UNAIR, including FKG, FKM, FF, FKp, and FV. “We expect a broader collaboration.” UNAIR healthcare professionals need a place to hone the competencies that the community requires in the field of health,” he explained.

Through this synergy, it is hoped that space will be opened for the emergence of various innovations in the field of health. That collaboration will also be able to provide services that are increasingly responsive to the needs of the community.
